Good service from the exceptionally helpful, hard-working staff members. Overall perfect atmosphere. A personal safe, an air conditioning, and a minibar in the room and the very clean bed.

Difficult to access w Fi

First of all, I loved the location of Grandos 83. It was away from the hustle-bustle of Las Ramblas but was convenient to restaurants and markets. Despite construction on street, it was quiet and relaxing. Grandos 83 was modern in decor but quaint...  

The rooftop bar and pool area, staffed by great people. Fantastic area to relax and to meet new friends.

Thought that the breakfast was expensive (although about average for the area/city), didn't like that the door card kept having to be re-programmed.Rather noisy in the ground floor rooms that led directly from reception - wooden floors and echoews, ask for an above ground floor room.

Beautifully designed, stylish hotel. Staff excellent, very helpful - unfortunately we were pickpocketted in Barcelona on our way from the airport and the staff were wonderful. We requested a DVD player and they went out of their way to accomodate this. Lovely rooftop...  

Great food, unique hotel, perfect location close to a metro station that is easy to connect with to the airport. New-fashioned, stylish room with a book, a balcony, bathtub! Delicious selection at breakfast including eggs and bacon. Location very close to bars, restaurant, sightseeing...

Darks small rooms which smell

we was told there was 3 settings for the a/c but turns out there was only one setting 25c which was not comfortable for a summer month ....worst hotel ever

exploring barcelona's vibrant streets and parks

I found the hotel to be perfectly situated, just a short stroll from both the fine casa batllo and the lively mercado de la boqueria, made my city explorations so enjoyable. Plus, the warm vibe of the space was like home.

Helpful staff, design and comfort

Staff were attentive, polite, and the service was excellent. The room was tidy, overall it was a perfect place for a city break. Cant say enough good things.

Plus, the breakfast was a treat, freshly scrambled eggs and even pancakes with a side of cava, you can't beat that in the morning.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly.

I gave a fair rating for cleanliness primarily because the walls needed painting. The bathroom was excellent for cleanliness. The area was much more Spanish than the Las Ramblas which was crowded, dirty and generally unsafe feeling-90 percent tourists and hustlers. We had an upgraded two story room which was attractive but difficult to use-very cramped and little space for luggage. Somewhat uncomfortable.

What a beautiful hotel!! Rooms are modern (I expected from a city like Barcelona), clean & well thought. Location is fantastic. Neighbourhood is upmarket and dead centre but quiet. There's a lot of little places to eat, shop or simply relax. Excellent place....
